Description/Responsibilities:
We seek an outstanding full-timeJava Software Developerto work on an advanced enterprise web application that utilizes modern technologies. You will work in a rapid development environment where results are quickly visible. You must be a team player and have the ability to work independently without requiring micromanagement. Strong communication skills and the ability to listen are also a must.
You will write back-end code for robust enterprise level web-based applications. You should also have a strong understanding of Java web application development.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in some specialist focus areas such as: UI development with AJAX and similar technologies, client application development (Windows and Mac), server-side application development, mobile apps (iPhone, Blackberry, and Android).

Minimum Requirements:

* Education Requirement: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related discipline or equivalent experience. Graduate Degree a plus.
* Practicing Developer with 1 to 5 years of Java development experience (Java + JSP)
* Understanding of object oriented concepts, design patterns, and various open-source toolkits and frameworks
* Familiarity with all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC)
* Strong SQL skills
* Ability to plan, work and report through self initiative
Preferred Skills:

* Java EE experience (J2EE 1.5)
* Familiarity with ORACLE or Microsoft SQL
* A thorough understanding of distributed systems and clustering mechanisms is a plus
* Knowledge of source revision control (CVS, SVN, etc)
* Java technologies such as: EJB 3.0, JSP, JSF, Hibernate, Velocity, Spring, Struts
* Web technologies such as: jQuery, dojo, Prototype, XML (XSD, XSLT)
